Our work

learn about our conferences

Since 2014, hundreds of local high school students have staffed and overseen a wide range of conferences, aiming to provide unique committees and experiences for every type of delegate and future leader.

Pacific Model United Nations

flagship

Pacific Model United Nations (PACMUN) began as a student run conference in 2014. The idea was conceived by seven extraordinary students to make a universally accessible MUN conference to all students in the Pacific Northwest. PACMUN is the first student-run conference in Washington State, and it its inaugural year, it became the largest conference in the state. The conference has grown since then, with the leadership of new secretariats and the guidance from years past.

Educational Model United Nations

Growth

Educational Model United Nations (EDUMUN) is a conference primarily designed to teach new delegates and improve the skills of returning delegates. EDUMUN is comprised of seminars and mock committees which keep delegates engaged. Beginning in 2015, EDUMUN has grown from a conference of 100 delegates to several hundred today. Scheduled in the early fall, EDUMUN hopes to prepare each delegate for all of their conferences for the year.

Seattle Model United Nations

Culture

Seattle Model United Nations (SeattleMUN) pays homage to the Seattle area by providing a premiere one-day conference to beginner and advanced delegates alike in downtown Seattle. SeattleMUN has been held in late winter since it's inception in 2019.

King County Model United Nations

Community

King County Model United Nations (KINGMUN) began as a smaller, more focused alternative to larger student run conferences in the Pacific Northwest in the spring of 2016. In the years since, KINGMUN has blossomed into a primary conference serving students in the Pacific Northwest during the spring season.
