THE MUNNorthwest Engineering Internship and Team

The MUN Northwest Engineering Team is an exciting opportunity for high school students to practice using cutting edge technologies such as React, Node.js, Auth0, Docker, and Kubernetes to implement ambitious projects such as custom content management and registration systems that will be used by three secretariats and hundreds of delegates each year. The Engineering Team is responsible for the websites, platforms, and technology that each conference uses, both in the preparation for each of our conferences and on the ground at the events.

Beyond simply writing code, the Engineering Team gives developers a chance to get feedback from college and industry mentors about best practices and large-scale software development to take their skills to the next level.

The Engineering Team is currently accepting resumes from potential candidates. To submit a resume or to learn more about the Engineering Team, please email [email protected].

Our Team

Henry Stelle

Lead Developer

Henry Stelle is a senior at Bellarmine Preparatory School and has the honor of serving as Lead Developer on MUN Northwest's Engineering Team. Aside from attending conferences across the United States and Canada, Henry has served on the secretariats of PACMUN, EDUMUN, KINGMUN, and BELLARMUN. Regardless of the time of day, Henry can almost always be found close to a computer covered with code, surrounded by piles of textbooks, papers, and more technology. MUN and his studies dominate Henry's life, but, in his free time, Henry loves to work on web development and portraiture photography.

Robert Chen

Developer

Robert Chen is a senior at Interlake High School. He has attended a few MUN conferences as a delegate, his first one having been PACMUN 2017. When he isn't participating in MUN conferences, he can be found competing in cybersecurity competitions and working on other miscellaneous projects. This is in line with how most of his favorite activities involve programming, which he was introduced to in the fourth grade.

Vivek Ramachandran

Industry Mentor

Vivek is a recent graduate of USC, where he studied computer science and business. He currently works as software engineer in the Seattle area. Vivek is passionate about mentoring future engineers and leaders through the variety of programs that Model United Nations Northwest offers.
